On the bright side, there was Hong-Chih Kuo. He had the best series of any Dodger, although when long relievers are in the spotlight, it's usually the result of something bad. Kuo added 4 1/3 scoreless innings Sunday night to the three scoreless he pitched Thursday night when Brad Penny pitched only four innings. Kuo lowered his ERA to 1.93.
